Congratulations to Dr. Rick Holland, Chief Wellness Officer of ECS!
We are so happy to announce that ECS has appointed Rick Holland, MD as our Chief Wellness Officer. In our ongoing commitment to provide the highest quality care, we recognize the impact of professional well-being on patient outcomes. This recognition has led ECS, like other leading healthcare organizations, to establish a Committee on Provider Wellness and Professional Fulfillment and now the Chief Wellness Officer position. As CWO, Dr. Holland will develop and implement policies and programs to support medical professional safety and well-being.
Dr. Holland has been with ECS for 13 years. He completed a residency at Spectrum Health in Emergency Medicine and received board certification in 2013. He is also board certified in Family Medicine. A long-time advocate for physician wellness, Dr. Holland has served as co-chair of the ECS Wellness Committee for the past two years. Earlier this year, he completed the Stanford Medicine Chief Wellness Officer training program.
