Big Rapids has added more single rooms, critical care rooms, and the latest diagnostic 128-slice CT scanner. Currently, the Big Rapids ED averages 23,705 emergency patients per year. The local hospital allows the Mecosta County region to enjoy coordinated care, expanded capabilities, and the convenience of local expertise.
